User Centered Design Process
Main goal of User Centered Design (UCD) Process is to solve problems that users face.
UCD Process mainly consist of four phases - Research, Concept, Design and Test.
- Research Phase helps UX Designer to understand the problem in its core. It can be done using Surveys, studying user personas, etc.
- Concept Phase helps UX Designer to generate and validate ideas on solving problem. In this phase, UX Designer can model a low fidelity solution such as storyboards, sketches, etc.
- Design Phase allow UX Designer to transform their ideas to wireframes or prototypes. In this phase, UX Designer work closely with Interaction Designer.
- Test Phase ensures that solution of UCD Process is meeting user's expectations. In this phase, UX Designer conduct usability and accessibility test with the help of focus groups, interviews, etc.
